For $29 a year, members get exclusive access to a curated list of 178+ partner restaurants across Long Island and the five boroughs — with member-only discounts, perks, and a points system that earns you rewards including food travel packages, event tickets, and dining credits. How much does membership cost? ▼ $29 per year. That's it. No monthly fees, no hidden charges. Less than the cost of a single appetizer — for 365 days of access to the best dining on Long Island and the boroughs, plus all your points and rewards. What do I get the moment I join? ▼ Immediately upon joining you get: • Full access to our curated restaurant list (178+ locations) • Your digital French Urban Goose membership card • Member-exclusive discounts and perks at every partner restaurant • Your points account — ready to start earning from your first visit • Invitations to member-only dining events and experiences Can I cancel my membership? ▼ Yes, you can cancel anytime. Your membership remains active through the end of your annual period. Points you've earned stay in your account for 90 days after cancellation so you have time to redeem them. Partner Restaurants What kinds of restaurants are on the list? ▼ We have a deliberately diverse mix — that's the whole point. Our list includes fine dining restaurants, classic neighborhood Italian red-sauce joints, the best hidden-gem pizzerias, seafood spots from Freeport to Montauk, international cuisine, and bakeries. Every restaurant is hand-selected. We eat there before they're listed. Where are the restaurants located? ▼ Our partner restaurants cover all five NYC boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island) plus all of Long Island — Nassau County, Suffolk County, the North Fork, and the Hamptons. One $29 membership works everywhere. How do I unlock my member perk at a restaurant? ▼ Arrive with your group of 4 or more, show your digital membership card, and scan the QR code at the restaurant. Your perk unlocks automatically and your visit is logged for points. Each restaurant's specific perk (discount, complimentary item, priority seating, etc.) is listed in the app before you visit. How often is the restaurant list updated? ▼ We update the list quarterly — adding new partner restaurants and occasionally retiring spots that no longer meet our standards. Members get notified of new additions via email. The goal is to keep the list genuinely curated, not just large. Points & Rewards How do I earn points? ▼ You earn points every time you visit a partner restaurant with a group of 4 or more and check in. Points are automatically added to your account after each verified visit. There is no cap on how many points you can earn — visit as many restaurants as you want, as often as you want. What can I redeem my points for? ▼ Three categories of rewards: • Dining Rewards — credits and complimentary experiences at partner restaurants (starting at 500 pts) • Events & Experiences — movie screenings, food festivals, private tastings, and member-only dining events (starting at 1,000 pts) • Food Travel Packages — fully curated food-focused trips to Bologna, Tokyo, Lyon, San Sebastián, and more (starting at 5,000 pts) Do points expire? ▼ Points are valid as long as your membership is active. If you cancel your membership, points remain redeemable for 90 days. As long as you're a member, your points accumulate indefinitely — no yearly reset. Food Travel Packages What's included in a food travel package? ▼ Our travel packages are fully curated food-focused trips — not generic tours. They include restaurant reservations at places you couldn't book on your own, guided market visits, cooking experiences, and access to food-world insiders in each destination. Packages vary by destination; full details are listed in your member account when you reach the redemption threshold. Where can I travel with my points? ▼ Current destinations include: • 🇮🇹 Bologna, Italy — the food capital of Europe (5,000 pts · 7 days) • 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Japan — ramen, sushi, izakayas (7,500 pts · 10 days) • 🇫🇷 Lyon, France — bouchons and Bocuse country (5,500 pts · 6 days) • 🇪🇸 San Sebastián, Spain — pintxos, Michelin stars (6,000 pts · 8 days) New destinations are added annually. How realistic is it to earn enough points for a trip? ▼ Very realistic. Members who visit partner restaurants once or twice a month typically accumulate 5,000+ points within a year. The more you explore the list, the faster you earn. And remember — every restaurant across Long Island and all five boroughs counts. A member who visits a new restaurant every other week earns enough for the Bologna package in under 10 months. The Group of 4+ Rule Why do I need to come with a group of 4 or more? ▼ French Urban Goose is built around the idea that great food is best shared. The group rule exists because we want this to be a genuine dining experience — not a solo discount card. It also means our restaurant partners get real tables of diners, which is how we maintain our relationships with the best spots on the list. Do all four people need to be members? ▼ No. Only you need to be a member. Your guests don't need their own French Urban Goose membership. You bring the group, you check in, your perk unlocks, and you earn the points. Simple. What if I want to visit a restaurant with fewer than 4 people? ▼ You can absolutely still visit any restaurant on our list — we encourage it. You just won't be able to unlock the member perk or log points for that visit. Save the check-in for when you've got your crew together. Is there a maximum group size? ▼ No maximum. Bring your whole family, your whole office, your whole friend group. The perk unlocks at 4+ and the points are yours regardless of how large the party gets.
